The sounds from an old elevator. First going up, the door opening, and it returning back down before the door opens again. This elevator is fairly old (from the 1960s) and is fairly dilapidated. Scary to ride, especially after you hear the sounds it makes.

W train approaches elevated station in astoria nyc on a cold winter night. Doors open, people leave, ambient quiet of the city, doors close, train departs. Slightly less intense than the n train recording.
